Site Clearance
The essential first chapter of development
At RG Tree Services, we view site clearance not merely as a task of removal, but as the essential first chapter of development. One recent project involved the comprehensive clearing of a dense Greenfield site, meticulously preparing the landscape for its upcoming architectural evolution.
The challenge required a symphony of heavy machinery and arboricultural expertise. Our approach was defined by surgical precision and industrial efficiency, ensuring that every cubic meter of organic matter was repurposed or removed with minimal site impact.
The Operation: Efficiency at Scale
In a showcase of logistical coordination, our team successfully felled and processed approximately 70 trees, transitioning the site from a restricted thicket to a “blank canvas” in less than a week. To achieve this rapid turnaround without compromising on quality, we deployed a specialised heavy-equipment task force:
Extraction & Sorting:
Our Kobelco 8-ton excavator, utilizing various specialized attachments, handled the primary extraction and sorting with agile power.
Timber Logistics:
The Valtra T154, featuring a 9m Kesla crane, worked in tandem with our 12-ton Moheda timber trailer to extract and transport heavy logs. For difficult terrain, our 9-ton remote-control forestry winch ensured no specimen was out of reach.
Total Biomass Recovery:
We utilized the Heizohack HM8-500K to process arisings into high-quality woodchip on-site. This was efficiently cleared using our high-capacity tractor and silage trailer units.
The Final Polish:
The operation concluded with a comprehensive pass by our tractor and mulcher unit, leaving the earth stabilized, level, and ready for the first stone to be laid.
Professional Synergy
While the machinery provides the power, our dedicated ground team provides the vision. By integrating mechanised strength with manual oversight, we ensured the site was left clean, tidy, and perfectly primed for the next stages of development.
"At RG Tree Services we don't just clear land; we reclaim it for the future - on schedule and with precision."
